Sport

Sport Climbing! I love to teach this course because soon after taking the class, students show a faster progression and do harder routes quicker, which is a real joy to see.

We will analyze movement, technique, psychological factors and belaying as major components to becoming a stronger climber.

Other highlights include periodization, training, and taking safe falls.

You will also receive a logbook and manual full of drills to take away from the course.

While many people think sport climbing is "for wimps" or perhaps that taking a class in clipping bolts is "stupid" wouldn't you want to progress as fast as possible and climb harder? You'll avoid many of the pitfalls that I've seen (and fallen into personally) over the last 20 years.

One of my partners, Ryan Johnson, sending a 5.13 @ Twall. Ryan has climbed 5.14, and is someone that I have gleaned a lot of information from in numerous discussions in between "burns" on projects.
