Rocky Top Guides is an outdoor rock climbing guide service. We guide climbing tours and teach you all you need to know how to rappel (get down), belay (hold safety ropes), tie in (knots), and of course, how to climb!

What We Teach

We teach everything from the rank beginner to more advanced classes in topics like anchor building, trad climbing, movement/technique, and aid/solo rope climbing.

 

For the beginner, a half day is usually a good intro to climbing. Someone who has some experience (indoors or otherwise) or is very fit, should go out with us for a full day.

We've got you covered in terms of rental gear. All climbing packages include harness, helmet, and specialized rock shoes.

 

Full Day: 9:00 or 9:30AM meet time

 

1/2 day AM:: 9:30 or 10am meet

1/2 day PM: 2:30 meet
